Impaired Driving Crackdown Continues Through Monday

Indiana State Police will be working with local law enforcement agencies through Monday conducting enforcement activities designed to identify and arrest impaired drivers. State Police report the crackdown is part of the “Driver Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. Troopers will also be watching for dangerous and aggressive drivers, as well as those who are not wearing their seat belt, and will strictly enforce traffic laws that are the leading causation factors in crashes including speeding, driving left of the center line and disregarding traffic signals.

State Police also encourage motorists to report suspected impaired or aggressive drivers by calling 911.
