Retiring to B-Town

An Indiana city has made Forbes magazine's annual list of Twenty-Five Best Places to Retire... downstate Bloomington, home to Indiana University... on the plus side, the article says, good economic record, average cost of living, low crime, average home price of 144-thousand dollars... national average is 163-thousand-500, according to the National Association of Realtors... on the negative side, cold winters. The list features communities from eighteen states... there were no cities on the list from the nearby Great Lakes states of Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
