A police investigation has Colorado St. closed north of US-30 in Hobart.  Police activity that began shortly after 5:00 p.m. this afternoon brought several units to the area, traffic tipsters reporting as many as 24 vehicles from Hobart police, Lake County Sheriff's police and several other law enforcement agencies.  http://www.nwitimes.com is reporting that a police chase ended the death of one suspect and the arrest of three other suspects at around 5:30 p.m. in the area of the Westlake Southlake Mall.  Several traffic tipsters reported seeing a body covered in a white sheet on the south side off of US-30.  As of 6:30 p.m. Colorado St. remains barricaded by police north of US-30.    As a result, traffic is reportedly backing up both directions of US-30 at this time.
