A group called “Improving Birth” held rallies around the country including along Calumet Avenue in Munster and in downtown Chicago Monday in a public outreach event called the National Rally for Change on Labor Day. It was meant to educate women about labor and delivery options, and to highlight what they say are unnecessary inductions and cesarean section births in U-S hospitals.
