Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels was in Laporte Wednesday afternoon, speaking at the groundbreaking ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Thomas Rose Industrial Park Expansion. Warehousing and distribution company Space Center LLC is developing an additional 130-plus-acres, and estimates predict at least a-thousand jobs will come of it.
