The city of Valparaiso has announced “Leaf Relief”.... Valpo’s Public Works Department is assembling a group of volunteers who will help seniors or other neighbors with leaf raking on October 27. Assistant Public Works Director Tony Reid [reed] says they'll be able to help about a dozen households, so call City Hall (219-462-1161) early, they say, if you’re in need, and depending on the response, they may expand the program next year.
