A lock down of two Michigan City schools has been lifted after police reported several gunshots in the area around 8 this morning. The Times reports, as a precaution, Elston Middle School and Saint Paul Lutheran School were placed on lock down, after shots were reported in the area of 11^th and Spring Street. Michigan City Police report, at last check, there were no injuries, but according to published reports, a vehicle was shot multiple times.  No further information is available at this time.
