An investigation continues regarding the death of a 13-month old boy. The Newton County Sheriff's Department reports that their office, along with officers from the Brook Police Department, started investigating the death Wednesday night, just before 11, and that a 34 year old Brook man has been taken into custody, and charged with felony neglect of a dependent. No further information is available at this time.
