A death investigation is underway after Gary Police find a woman dead in the passenger seat of a vehicle during a traffic stop Thursday night at a mini mart at 25^th and Harrison Street. Nwi-dot-com this morning says the car had significant front-end damage and the driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment, while a child also in the car was found to be unharmed. The Times also reports that police do not suspect foul play.
