Two brothers were air-lifted from the scene of a single vehicle roll-over on I-94 about two miles east of the Portage exit Tuesday afternoon. Indiana State Police Lowell Post says a driver said he swerved to avoid a car that started to enter his lane, and that's when the first car went off the road, overcorrected and lost control. The front-seat passenger, the driver's 18-year-old son, was partially ejected, and his 23-year-old brother, who was in the back, was ejected, coming to rest in the left lane. No information was available on their conditions, or the condition of the father at this time.
All lanes east bound were closed and traffic was directed off at Ripley Street until approximately 4:00 p.m. for investigation of the crash, landing of two air ambulances, removal of the car, and clean-up of the roadway.
