A 22 year old woman is expected to recover after being shot at home in Hammond Thursday night. The Times reports police were called out to the two-hundred block of Condit Street on a report of shots fired at a residence. Published reports say the woman was taken to a Chicago-area hospital, after being shot in the abdomen.
