Most South Shore trains have been temporarily suspended due to a derailment in Michigan City. There are no injuries but service is affected. We expect this disruption to affect nearly all of the morning rush hour. Trains 110 and 112 will depart East Chicago at the scheduled time making all stops. Limited seating will be available. Metra Electric will honor South Shore tickets. We will update this message when new information is available.
