The National Weather Service in Chicago says it could be a very snowy Monday morning in the Region, starting overnight and continuing into the rush hour. Meteorologists say another in a series of Alberta Clippers will move across the area tonight into Monday morning, bringing snow over northwest Indiana, possibly three to five inches, with localized higher amounts possible across northern Lake and Porter counties, and in La Porte County. The National Weather Service Northern Indiana office says visibillity will be reduced in heavy snow bands, and lake effect in La Porte County is expected to redevelop during the midday hours.
