The night before Halloween is the best to take in a good horror movie! Do you have any favorites? The scariest movie to me is still Steven King's "It", Pennywise ruined me! I also would rank the original Halloween movies up there, just not the witches one!

5 Halloween Must Sees:

  1. Halloween
  2. IT
  3. The Exorcist (orignal)

Yesterday, Starbucks launched a new @Tweetacoffee program, and it works just as you might assume. Starbucks will tweet to your friend with a link to redeem a $5 gift card.

BRITNEY SPEARS HITS USED BY UK NAVY TO SCARE SOMALI PIRATES

Britney Spears hits are being used by the UK's Royal Navy to scare off Somali pirates. The singer’s hits “Oops! I Did It Again” and “Baby One More Time” have proved the most effective deterrent on supertankers off the east coast of Africa. "Her songs were chosen by the security team because they thought the pirates would hate them most," merchant navy officer Rachel Owens said. "These guys can't stand Western culture or music, making Britney's hits perfect."

Best Or Worst Call Off Excuses

Annie's Blog

Have you ever tried to come up with a good excuse to miss work? New survey has found the BEST or WORST Employee excuses (depending on how you look at it) for missing work this year. My favorite: "Employee's false teeth flew out the window while driving down the highway" Here are some more that stood out:

  • Employee's favorite football team lost on Sunday so needed Monday to recover
  • Employee was quitting smoking and was grouchy
  • Employee said that someone glued her doors and windows shut so she couldn’t leave the house to come to work
  • Employee said the chemical in turkey made him fall asleep and he missed his shift
  • Employee's fake eye was falling out of its socket
  • Employee received a threatening phone call from the electric company and needed to report it to the FBI
  • Employee needed to finish Christmas shopping
  • Employee got lost and ended up in another state
  • Employee couldn’t decide what to wear

HUNTER FIRES AT MOOSE AND MISSES…BUT HITS MAN WHO WAS SITTING ON THE TOILET IN NEARBY LOG CABIN

A Norwegian hunter took aim at a moose, but missed and accidentally hit a man in the stomach as he sat on the toilet in a nearby cabin. The bullet whizzed past the animal, pierced the wooden wall behind it and struck the man, in his seventies, in the stomach on Thursday. The victim was flown by helicopter to a hospital but his injury was not life-threatening. The hunter was taken in for questioning in Hvaler district, about 74 miles southeast of the capital of Oslo. The moose escaped unscathed.

MAN GOES BACK INTO BURNING HOME TO SAVE BEER

A Georgia man went back into his burning home to save his beer after making sure his family was safe. Walter Serpit, who walks with a cane, made sure the six adults and two children who live in the home made it outside safely. He then went back in to get his beer. "I told them to get the kids out and everything, and me myself, being an alcoholic, I was trying to get my beer out," Serpit said. "I went back into the house like a dummy and the door shut on me because this back draft was about to kill me." He saved several cans of beer. The fire was likely cause by a new water heater.
