Police Looking for Hit-and-Run Vehicle

Porter County Sheriff's Police are looking for the vehicle that injured a jogger in a hit-and-run incident Monday night on County Rd. 200 W. near 1039 North in Liberty Township.  Public Information Officer Larry La Flower said the 21-year-old, woman was jogging southbound when struck by a northbound vehicle around 9:45pm.  The jogger suffered two broken vertebrae in her neck, dislocated shoulder and a shattered ankle.   Police are seeking a 1992-1995 Honda Civic with front passenger damage including a missing outside rear view mirror on the passenger side.  Anyone with information should call the Sherriff's Police at 219-477-3141.
