Valpo PATH Gets Grant Money

A Valparaiso organization dedicated to teen health programs recently received just over 691-thousand dollars in grant money from the U-S Department of Health and Human Services. Congressman Pete Visclosky (vis-KLAH-ski) made the announcement on Tuesday for A Positive Approach to Teen Health, or PATH, and thanked the organizations dedicated staff for securing the grant. PATH's Executive Director says the grant will provide a major boost to their efforts in reaching the youth of Northwest Indiana, and to enable them to make stronger life choices, resulting in strong communities. PATH serves approximately 15-thousand young people, in 23 school districts, across seven counties of Northwest Indiana.
