The Portage Police Department announced this morning that a news conference is scheduled this afternoon (3pm) to address new developments concerning the arrest of a subject in connection with the death of Carl Griffith Sr. Authorities say the 72-year-old man was found shot in the front yard of his Portage home on Locust Street around 8 pm November first, and pronounced dead that same night at a local hospital.
