The City of Lake Station is urging all residents with Lake Station water to boil their water for at least five minutes before using after a water main break was discovered Thursday morning. The precautionary measure issued by the City is in effect until further notice. City officials say residents can bathe, use washing machines and use a dishwasher if set to a "high temperature" or "sanitize."   About a-thousand students went home early Thursday due to a lack of water pressure at Edison Junior/Senior High and Bailey Elementary School in Lake Station.
