A crash in Lowell claimed the life of a DeMotte man Monday afternoon. The Lake County Coroners office says 41-year-old Todd Middleton suffered blunt force trauma in a motor vehicle accident at 181st and Grand Boulevard and was pronounced dead shortly before 5 pm. Lake County Police and the Lowell Fire Department responded .
