Five students at Hammond Bishop Noll were among six people hurt in a three-car crash in Hegewisch. Chicago Police say the car carrying the five teens was hit by another car that first struck a trailer being pulled by a truck. The president of Bishop Noll Institute, Paul Mullaney, issued a statement Monday that five students were involved in a crash on Sunday. The driver of the first car and one of the teens were transported with serious injuries, according to authorities, and four other teenagers reportedly were considered to be in good condition. "As a tight-knit family at Bishop Noll, we are focused on showing support to those injured and praying that they all will experience a full recovery," the statement said.
