Smoke in Radar Facility Cancels/Delays Chicago Flights

WRITE IN: Many flights canceled or delayed in Chicago today after smoke inside an area radar facility forced a stop to all incoming and outgoing flights at the city's two airports. The Federal Aviation Administration says the facility, in a suburb, was evacuated while a ground stop was put into effect at O'Hare International and Midway. A firefighter whose station responded to the scene told ABC News it was thick enough where fire crews felt that they needed to go on air, as they call it.

Flights have reportedly resumed at both airports but not at the typical pace. O'Hare is the second busiest airport in the country.
