We hear a lot about binge drinking among high school and college students, but a new study is looking at older adults and the consequences that can come from drinking. ABC News reports excessive drinking kills one in ten working age adults according to new report from the Centers for Disease Control. People are drinking to the point of intoxication on a daily basis or drinking very high levels on a daily basis. Epidemoilogist Mandy Stahre says excessive drinking can also mean drinking too much in a short period of time. Half of the fatal cases are attributed to binge drinking. The study looked at data from 2006-2010.
