Illinois State Police report that an 18-wheeler lost part of its load closing the two right lanes of the northbound Tri-state between the Bishop Ford Expressway and the Lincoln Oasis at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. By 3:00 p.m. the incident caused a ten mile backup on westbound 80/94 from Chase Street. Shortly after, State police reported one right lane reopened. A traffic tipster also reported a disabled vehicle WB Borman in the inside right lane at the 1.7 mile marker that added to the delay. Motorists were taking the Indiana Toll orad as an alternate.
