September is Hunger Action Month...Food Bank of Northwest Indiana is getting the word out: hunger exists in every community. All month long Food Bank, part of Feeding America, a network of over 200 food banks is encouraging citizens to take action by becoming involved in various Food Bank activities. Suggestions from the food bank to take action include taking part in their annual Spread the Love peanut butter drive, download their 30 ways in 30 Days calendar for simply daily suggestions of ways to combat hunger.
