Portage Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash. Public Information Officer Sgt. Keith Hughes says officers responded to the intersection of Route 20 and Old Porter Road just after 11-o'clock Tuesday night.  Crash investigators found the vehicle left the roadway, overcorrected to reenter it, and the vehicle's brakes apparently locked up and the motorcycle skid across the road crashing into a guardrail. Police say the 29-year-old male driver from Portage was taken to Porter Regional Hospital where he later died from his injuries. The victim's identity has not yet been released, pending notification of family.
