The pharmacy that distributed the steroid linked to 91 confirmed cases of a rare form of fungal meningitis is voluntarily recalling all of its products... because of risk of contamination. The F-D-A had previously told health professionals not to use products distributed by the center, a so-called pharmacy compounder, which makes knock-off drugs in conditions not regulated by the F-D-A, says Sheldon Bradshaw, former chief counsel to the government agency.
