An unsettling situation for a Cedar Lake woman, who was awakened last Saturday night by a loud banging noise, to find a man standing just outside her shed. Cedar Lake Police say they were called out to the 72-hundredth block of West 136^th Avenue, at about 11 that night, after the woman called police, saying she had just confronted the suspect, who allegedly told her that he would shoot her if she let her barking dog out of the house. Cedar lake Police say they arrived within moments, and took the suspect, a 24 year old Cedar Lake man, into custody. The man is charged with one count of felony attempted robbery, and one count of burglary.
