Highland Police say they are investigating a burglary that occurred at approximately 2 am today in the 2300 block of Hart Road. Police say someone entered a residential unit but was confronted by the homeowner and a confrontation occurred. Authorities say no weapon was displayed.  Police say the suspect did take some valuables from the residence before fleeing.  Police released the following description of the suspect: male, black, 5'8 to 6'0, 180-200 pounds wearing a charcoal gray hoodie under a 'lettermans' type jacket with dark leather sleeves.
