Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

Did you get a chance to check out The Bachelorette last night? Looks like Jef had what it took to win Emily's heart... do you think it's true love? Check out their latest interview as an engaged couple above. I still think Emily really loved Arie, but knew Jef was a safer bet for her daughter! One things for sure, could those proposals get anymore cheesy?
Have you heard of this new dating show on CBS? I bring it up because it has a local connection, bachelor Dennis Trelinski Jr. of Munster was selected to be on the new series. Part of the show was actually filmed at his home in Munster! Look for 3 to debut on CBS Thursday! Check out more here.

- Apollo 14 astronaut Allen Shepard played golf on the Moon. In front of a worldwide TV audience, Mission Control teased him about slicing the ball to the right. Yet a slice is caused by uneven air flow over the ball. The Moon has no atmosphere and no air.
- An average day’s temperature on the moon ranges from 260° F to 280° F, too hot for film to survive. At those temperatures, film crinkles up into a ball.
- If you look at the pictures and videos of astronauts "on" the moon, you will never see more than 3 stars.
- If you watch one of the scenes where they are walking in space, and you double the speed (2x) you see that they are clearing running like as they are running on the Earth

Looks like it was Jennifer Nettles who came out on top of the first season of Duets! Her team member J. Rome was crowned the winner last night on a live show! In fact, her two team members finished in 1st and 2nd, with Kelly Clarkson's Jason placing in 3rd! You go ladies... show those men who's boss!!! Check out a review of the finale here.

Pete Rose a Reality Star?
Looks like Baseball great Pete Rose is headed to TLC with a new reality show about his life! Are you even remotely interested in watching an old disgraced baseball star try to make his long distance relationship work with his 20 something fiance? I know my answer! Pete Rose's show should air later this fall for at least 5 episodes!

There are over 7,000 people expected for the Luke show tonight at the Fair!!! It's going to be packed, so here are some tips for tonight's parking from the fairboard:
If you are attending the Luke Bryan Concert and you are coming from the NORTH. - Take US 49 North to Aldi's parking area directly across from the Expo Center starting at 5pm. Busses will be driving visitors from 5pm to midnight. If you arrive before 5pm, follow directions of the Police directing traffic to the designated parking area.
If you are attending and driving from the WEST take US 30 to Sturdy Road (Speedway and Broadway Cafe), follow that south to Division, then take Division to US 49 and park in the Aldi's Parking lot after 5pm. Busses will be driving visitors to the fair from 5pm to midnight. If you arrive before 5pm, follow directions of the Police directing traffic to the designated parking area.
If you are driving from the SOUTH, take US 49 to Division and park in the Aldi's parking lot after 5pm. If you arrive before 5, follow the Police directing traffic to the designated parking area.
If you are driving from the EAST, take US 30 to N. 375 South and follow to the East Gate and park in the designated lot.
