Thursday's Reality Roundup

The Top 3 were getting down to business last night on American Idol. Not only did we get to see each of them perform 3 songs, we also got a better glimpse into their personalities with their hometown visits! (Aren't the parades a little awkward?)

So overall what did you think of last night's show? I'm going to hand my pick of the night over to Phillip Phillips! Maybe there is some truth to the bias we show towards female contestants on American Idol. I don't know what it is but it feels easier to connect with them and they always get the votes! Do you think Jessica lost her front runner status last night with her song choices?

Also coming from last night's show is another rumor... this could be JLo's last season! E! Online is reporting the singer/actress/designer/mom is just too busy to be back next season. Smart move girl, use American Idol to get back on the map and then get out while you're on top! Do you think Marc Anthony is cursing somewhere?

Alright, so let's get serious... who's your Final 2? Who should replace JLo? Let's talk about it on Facebook!

Let the Battle of the Sexes begin! Who do you think is the better driver? According to new statistics the correct answer would be women! DUH! (Not that I'm biased!) Some findings of the 4AutoInsuranceQuote.com study:

80 percent of all fatal and serious car crashes are caused by male drivers.

Women are 27 percent less likely than men to cause auto accidents.

In 2007, Men were involved in 6.1 million car accidents while women were involved in 4.4 million.

Guys are arguing the stats are higher cause more of them usually drive than women. I guess this is true in my relationship, Rob does drive more. (Mainly, cause I cannot stand him as the passenger!) What is it like in your family?

The End Of The Road...

It's that time of year where we hold our breath and hope our favorite shows don't get canned for next season! I've already been devastated that my favorite ABC Family Show “Make It Or Break It” was canceled. (Watched the finale yesterday and cried.. go ahead and make fun!) Also, NBC has put out word that next season will be the last for another one of my favorites “30 Rock”! Jeeze just kick a girl while she's down!

Anyway here's a list of some well known shows not coming back next season:

CBS Cancelled Shows - CSI: Miami, A Gifted Man, How to Be a Gentleman, NYC 22, Rob, Unforgettable

FOX Cancelled Shows - Alcatraz, Allen Gregory, Breaking In, The Finder, House, I Hate My Teenage Daughter, Napoleon Dynamite, Terra Nova

NBC Cancelled Shows - Are You There, Chelsea?, Awake, Bent, Best Friends Forever, Free Agents, Harry’s Law, The Playboy Club, Prime Suspect, The Firm

ABC Cancelled Shows - Charlie’s Angels, Desperate Housewives, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, GCB, Man Up, Missing, Pan Am, The River, Work It

Watch Out For That Pole...

Should texting and walking be banned? That is the question that is popping up around the country as lawmakers look to take steps in making life with cell phones safer! (Check out more here) One NJ town is already fining people $85 if you are caught texting on their sidewalks! Does this seem a little extreme? I mean we all know how dangerous texting and driving can be, but walking? If anything it may lead to an embarrassing moment of you running into something! (Yes, I've done this! Have you?)

Freak Out.

Annie's Blog

I'm slowly learning how to be a bride! This weekend spent all day Saturday wrapped up in wedding mania! First my mom, sister, and I went for round two of wedding gown shopping and I finally know what style of dress I like! Now I can confidentially say “a fit and flare style with a dropped waist!” Sidebar: Why does every consultant want to put me in a dang ballgown?!?! No thanks... I would rather not look like I belong on the top of a cake!

Anyway, I finally had my first freak out moment! My sister picks the most gorgeous dress (pictured above), we start to put it on, and it happens... I'm stuck! Fabric is going up places it shouldn't, my stomach cannot move to breathe, and I start to sweat! Full panic mode ensues, till my sister is fully under my dress and my mom is on the back-end pulling me out! I wish we had a camera in the dressing room so you could see the crazy mess we were in! Thank goodness they were able to get me out without ripping the dress or we'd be buying a dress that had NO written all over it!

Needless to say, that was the end of our dress shopping for the day! Still haven't found “The One”, but a lot that I have tried on are super close! I'm still waiting for the dress that I cannot live without... is that silly? Any suggestions? Let us know on Facebook!
