How was your weekend?!? Had a chance to check out Thomas Rhett at Joe's Bar in Chicago Saturday night and it was fantastic! I wasn't sure what to expect, because I only know about 4 songs of his, but I left a big fan! If you haven't picked up his debut album, I totally recommend it!

JOSH BROLIN PICKS DRUNKEN FIGTH WITH BOUNCER, THEN HUGS IT OUT

A drunken Josh Brolin got into a bizarre fight outside a Santa Monica bar early Friday morning. In video obtained by TMZ, the actor can be seen brawling with the bouncers at O’Brien’s Irish Pub before one of the security guys convinces him to hug it out instead. At the end of the clip, the bouncer attempts to hail Brolin a cab as the wasted star tries to stumble away.

ALLIGATOR FOUND CRAWLING AROUND O'HARE AIRPORT

Officials in Chicago caught a foot-long alligator found crawling around Terminal 3 at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Passengers spotted the animal Friday under an escalator and called police asking for help. "Figured somebody was messing with us," said Chicago Police Officer Anthony Oliver. Department of Aviation workers used a dustpan and broom to catch the animal and it was turned over to the city's animal control department. Police aren't sure how the alligator came to be at the airport, but suspect it may be the same one someone spotted being carried onto the Blue Line train. A photo of that animal on Twitter closely matches the appearance of the one caught at the airport. The alligator will be released into the wild after being held and receiving medical treatment for six months. It appears its owners didn't feed it properly.

Don't Throw Out Those Pumpkins!

Annie's Blog

Yesterday, had some fun at the house carving pumpkins with Mini Vinny, Rob, and Jager! I think I was the only one who enjoyed getting messy, the boys didn't like the slime! However, Jager did enjoy eating whatever Vinny dropped! Have you carved yours? Here are some tips on what to do with your pumpkins after the holiday:

TREAT THE BIRDS TO A SNACK – Attract feathered friends to your backyard by breaking the pumpkin into small pieces and setting it out in a bird feeder or shallow dish.

POWER UP NEXT SPRING’S PLANTS – Scatter chunks of pumpkin over your garden and cover with fall leaves – nutrients from the gourd will fertilize the soil, setting the stage for beautiful spring blooms.

HELP OUT A FARMER – OR YOUR LOCAL ZOO Lots of animals love pumpkins.  Contact local farms and zoos to see if they accept donations, and you’ll delight horses, lions, bears, gorillas and more.

WOMAN SAYS SHE WILL NOT GIVE CANDY TO THE OBESE

A North Dakota woman plans to hand out letters instead of Halloween candy to trick-or-treaters she considers to be "moderately obese." The Fargo woman's letter, which quickly spread via social media after she announced her intentions, is addressed to the parents of the trick-or-treaters who received it and informs the parents that their children appear to be "moderately obese." The letter urges parents not to feed children candy and to guide the youngsters toward a healthier lifestyle. The woman said she wants the city's children to be healthier. "I just want to send a message to the parents of kids that are really overweight...I think it's just really irresponsible of parents to send them out looking for free candy just 'cause all the other kids are doing it," said the woman, who gave her name as Cheryl. "I'm contributing to their health problems and really, their kids are everybody's kids. It's a whole village." Dr. Katie Gordon, assistant professor of Clinical Psychology at North Dakota State University, said such a letter could do more harm than good.

MAN CHARGED WITH DUI AFTER DRUNK DRIVING HIS LAWN MOWER ON A BEER RUN TO THE STORE

A Maine man faces drunk driving charges after allegedly using his riding lawn mower to make a beer run. Police say convenience store employees turned away 51-year-old Tony Caulder when he came to Cummings Market in Kennebunk on October 19 because they thought he was drunk. The employees followed the man outside to make sure he wasn't getting into a car and called police when he rode off on the lawn mower. He had earlier been seen pumping gas into his lawnmower on the forecourt. Police charged him with operating under the influence after stopping him a short time later.  The 51-year-old was released on bail the next day and is scheduled to make a court appearance in January.  Under Maine law, riding a lawnmower on a public road is illegal but as Caulder's type of machine is defined as a motor vehicle, officers issued a DUI.
