Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Yesterday was the first time I have begun to seriously look into wedding venues and I was met with a complete shock! Weddings are so gosh darn expensive!!! How does anyone afford them? I got so stressed looking at the estimates and it was only the first day! I cannot even imagine planning the whole thing!

I should explain it was never my intention to have a big wedding, I was content with taking our parent's and wedding party up to Michigan and getting married one weekend on the beach! However, my mother has other ideas! Did you run into the problem of trying to balance your wants with your family's? Could seriously use some advice to help rid stress!

We did however set a date. June 1, 2013! It's kinda exciting and nerve wracking at the same time to finally have a deadline! I'll keep ya posted on things as the move along and any advice or recommendations you'd like to share along the way would be appreciated!
