ROLLER-COASTER MALFUNCTION LEAVES PASSENGERS STRANDED

A roller-coaster malfunction left 10 to 12 passengers stranded high in the air at Universal Studios in Florida for approximately two hours until they could be rescued. The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla., had a glitch that caused the computers to go into safety mode, which stopped the ride last night. All riders were taken off and made their way down the emergency stairs. At the time of the malfunction, the riders were in a vertical position on the ride, but were soon shifted to make the rescue easier. There were no reports of injuries, and Orlando Fire Rescue was on scene at the theme park.

MIKE & MOLLY” TO RETURN EARLY AS CBS PULLS “WE ARE MEN”

After just two weeks, Monday nights on CBS are in for major shake-up. The network announced yesterday that freshman entry "We Are Men" would be pulled from the line-up after the show's two lackluster airings, paving the way for Season 4 of "Mike & Molly" (held for mid-season for just this reason) to bow earlier than planned.
