WILL THE WORLD END IN 2032? UKRAINIAN ASTRONOMERS DISCOVER MASSIVE ASTEROID THAT COULD HIT THE EARTH WITH THE POWER OF 2,500 NUCLEAR BOMBS
The world as we know it could end on August 26, 2032. A 13,000-foot wide asteroid is headed toward Earth and could strike the planet with the force of 2,500 nuclear warheads in 19 years, Ukrainian astronomers have revealed. Crimean Astrophysical Observatory found the massive asteroid, called 2013 TV135, last weekend and the international scientific community has already rated it as one of the two most dangerous asteroids ever recorded. Still, the chances of the object striking Earth are very low, estimated at 1 in 63,000.
CLEVELAND BROWNS FAN POSTS QUARTERBACK POSITION ON CRAIGSLIST
A Cleveland Browns fan expressed his frustration with quarterback Brandon Weeden with a Craigslist ad seeking "anyone" to replace the player. Seth Pae, a DePaul University graduate student, put up the Craigslist job posting for a new Cleveland Browns quarterback as a sign of his frustration with the team and Weeden in particular. "Have you played pro football?" the ad read. "College ball? High school? Pee-wee? Have you played Madden before? Do you know some of the rules of football? If yes, keep reading." "We will take ANYONE!" the ad reads. Pae said the ad was a means of relieving his anger toward the team.
GLEE WILL END AFTER NEXT SEASON
The music on Glee will stop after next season, TV Line reports. Speaking at a Paley Center event Wednesday night, creator Ryan Murphy said Glee's sixth season will be its last. Murphy also said that in the wake of Cory Monteith's sudden death earlier this year, he's had to scrap his original idea for an ending, which he had wanted to revolve around the characters of Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn (Monteith). "I knew what the last shot was. He was in it," Murphy said. "I knew what the last line was. She said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we're figuring that out now." Murphy says he has a "good idea" for a new ending, and it's one that will "honor" Monteith and his character.
