Thanks to the baby boom generation, the most amount of workers ever, will be retiring over the next five to ten years. Bill Leavitt a technical writer from Valparaiso, who retired early himself, says when it comes to the mental aspect of retirement a lot retirees will be venturing into uncharted waters. This is one of the reasons Leavitt says he wrote a new book titled, "Retirement--Life's Greatest Adventure, A Retiree's Guide to a Happy, Fulfilling Life." Wow, a busy Friday drive home! Traffic tipsters alerted us earlier to accidents or incidents on SB Cline Avenue, US-6 @ SR-149, SR-49 exit ramp to EB US-30 in Valpo, US-30 in Dyer toward US-41, inbound Bishop Ford @ 154th St. (outbound as well), 61st St. east of I-65 and I-65. An earlier rollover crash has been cleared away on 61st St. just east of I-65. Traffic volume remains moderate on both directions of I-65.

A Region traffic tipster alerting drivers to a rollover wreck on 61st St. just east of I-65 shortly after 5:00 pm. Rescue crews are on the scene. Exit ramps onto 61st St. from I-65 could begin backing up. Watch out for stopped vehicles on the ramps.

A two vehicle crash has the right lane blocked inbound Bishop Ford near 154th Street. Traffic is backing up from 80/94 to 154th Street. Crews assisting at the crash have the left lane blocked causing a big backup inbound Bishop Ford from 111th Street to 154th Street.
Traffic is being affected by an earlier multi-vehicle crash in the wall southbound Cline Avenue just before the Indiana Toll Rd. exit, according to traffic tipsters. In addition, crews are re-paving the left lane southbound Cline Avenue from about the mills to a little past the Toll Rd. which traffic tipsters report is backing up southbound traffic from the mills. Drivers could use Kennedy Avenue or Indianapolis Blvd. as alternates. Drivers should expect delays.
A number of traffic tipsters reporting a multi-vehicle crash that occurred around 3:00 pm on US-6 just west of State Road 149. Traffic headed both westbound and eastbound was reportedly backing up.
