Waves Up to 18-feet Tall Expected on Lake Michigan

The National Weather Service says large and battering waves up to 18-feet tall are expected on Lake Michigan, some occasionally larger, which will result in extremely dangerous conditions near the lakefront. Meteorologists say flooding of low-lying roads and property along the lakeshore and inundation of Whiting Lakefront Park are likely. Portions of the Chicago lakefront bike path will likely become impassible. Here is a link to the National Weather Service website.
