Valpo Parks Foundation 2024 Friends and Legends Reception

In Valparaiso, the Valpo Parks Foundation says the 2024 Friends and Legends Reception is Thursday, October 3, 2024, 5 to 7 pm, at the Butterfield Family Pavilion at Fairgrounds Park on Calumet Avenue. A news release says the celebration honors individuals who have made significant contributions to Valpo Parks and this year’s honorees include: Nancy Bender, recipient of the Art and Irene Malasto Legends Award; Matt Vessely receiving the Legendary Friend Award; and Byron Smith III receiving the Community Champion Award.
