As part of Humane Society Calumet Area’s Chart-topping Summer, the shelter will host Far Out Friends Adoption Weekend with fees waived for adult dogs and cats July 17 through 19. The adoption special is open to the public and the event takes place from noon to 7 p.m. Friday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the adoption center, 421 45th St., Munster, Ind.
HSCA closes out the summer with Petstock Weekend Aug. 21 through 23 with adoption fees waived for dogs weighing more than 30 lbs and adult cats. All adoptions require an approved application and standard adoption procedures apply. Some exclusions and additional fees may apply.
