Annual Animal Baby Shower Features Puppies and Kittens

Cuteness abounds at Humane Society Calumet Area’s annual Animal Baby Shower on Tuesday, April 28 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The public is invited to meet the baby kittens and puppies of Humane Society Calumet Area, 421 45th St., Munster, Ind. Guests are asked to bring a gift from the baby wish list, which features much-needed items for the shelter—including kitten and puppy formula, puppy nursing bottles, heating pads and more. Guests can enjoy light snacks, tour the shelter, meet with puppies and kittens, and enter to win raffle baskets.

About Humane Society Calumet Area
Founded by concerned citizen Miss Evelyn Sweitzer in 1941, Humane Society Calumet Area aims to lead the community in the humane treatment of animals by providing vital community services. In 2014, nearly 1,750 homeless animals found homes through HSCA and more than 190 lost animals were reunited with their families.
