In Valparaiso, there’s new signage designed to help some area feathered friends navigate local roads. Valparaiso says as fifth graders, Girl Scout Troop 35495 approached the city last year about Goose Crossing signs out of concern for geese and their goslings. Valpo was able to make it happen, bringing their designs to life, the city said, and installing them in time for the spring season this year. You can see their original designs along with the sign unveiled on Vale Park Road and Bullseye Lake Road at the city’s Valpo Now Facebook page .
