Humane Society Seeks Rescue Groups for August Adoption Event

Humane Society Calumet Area (HSCA) is going country and heading to the farm for the second annual Hoof and Tail Adoption Event and Scavenger Hunt on Aug. 27 from noon to 4 p.m.

Rescues registered as a 501(c)3 organizations are invited to participate in this adoption event held at Happy Note Farm, located 10623 Cline Ave., Crown Point, Ind. Both pet and farm animal rescues are encouraged to join.

In addition to the adoption even, the afternoon will also feature a farmers’ market, a scavenger hunt, music, and more.

HSCA’s Adoption Center at 421 45th Ave, Munster, will be closed Aug. 27 for this special adoption event.
