In Westville, the Independent Cat Society will be celebrating 45 years in 2022, and plans are in the works for the nonprofit’s annual Cat’s Meow Gala later in the year. Another yearly fundraiser begins in January, the Independent Cat Society’s “Sweetheart Contest” leading up to Sweetheart Day in February. Many other fundraising events are planned.
