New York City Group Providing Care for Kentucky Flood Surviving Dogs

An animal rescue non profit in New York City is providing care for some of eastern Kentucky’s flood surviving dogs. The Muddy Paws Rescue organization in Manhattan is caring for 50 dogs. The Muddy Paws volunteers are serving as foster parents to the animals; the dogs survived the Kentucky flash flood but are currently homeless. More surviving dogs are expected to arrive next week.
