North Shore Animal League Mobile Unit in New York Prepares to Transport Pet Donations to Areas Impacted by Hurricane Ida

In Port Washington, New York, the North Shore Animal League mobile unit is getting ready to transport pet donations from Long Island down to the Gulf Coast. Today August 30th is the last day the group will be accepting donations for pets impacted by Hurricane Ida. The group says supplies will be hard to come by and they’re asking for cleaning supplies, bottled water, and dog and cat foods and treats. Donations are being accepted at the Animal League’s facility in Port Washington, New York, where the nonprofit organization is headquartered.
