Looking for some easy and sustainable gardening techniques this summer? Join park volunteer George Mika and learn some ingenious self-watering container gardening techniques. This free program is offered during the Douglas Center Open House between 11:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 20 at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Free supplies and a tomato plant will be furnished so you can construct your very own take home waterless garden. Pre-register at 219-395-1821 or, while supplies last, walk-ins are welcome.
