Grants are now being offered by the Lake County Master Gardeners to schools, churches, organizations, businesses, or others who wish to help others grow through projects pertaining to gardening or horticulture. Grant amounts will range from $100. – $300. and will be awarded during 2016. To be eligible for a grant the project must be located in Lake County, Indiana, and preferably have an educational element. The deadline for submitting grant applications is March 1, 2016.
