New energy-efficient LED lights made their debut at Wrigley Field last week. The team says were installed last November with the use of a special helicopter and not only are they brighter with fewer lights to illuminate night games they also provide a special “W Flag” light show when the Cubs win. The old lights were installed in 1988.
