Indiana Dunes National Park says they will be closing one-and-a-half miles of the Little Calumet River Hiking Trail for a rehabilitation project. The closures begin Monday, July 12th and work in that area could last up to four months, as crews will replace nearly one-thousand feet of boardwalk along the trail. Hikers will still have access to the Bailly/Chellberg Trails along with another 48 miles of trails located throughout Indiana Dunes National Park. These trails include Dune Ridge, Miller Woods, West Beach, Heron Rookery, Tolleston, Great Marsh and the Pinhook Bog Upland Trail. For more information, visit nps.gov/indu .
