Even though the Porter County Fair has been canceled, the first-ever 4-H Virtual Livestock Celebration Auction is tonight (Thursday, July 30th) at 6pm, carrying on the tradition in support of local livestock projects. Jonathan Kraft, auctioneer and host of the event says the event is open for anyone to participate and bid on livestock in support of Porter County 4-H kids.
“This year, we’re doing something special for the kids”, Kraft said. “We have over 150 kids who have signed up for the auction and each one will get to sell one animal in the auction. You’ll be able to bid live as the auction is going on. Once you win the bid, we’ll e-mail you an invoice for everything. Anyone can bid, and you’ll be helping some great kids in Porter County.”
