Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater NWI Seeking Boost for Virtual Learning Programs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana are serving as a school for a limited capacity of youth in The Region, transforming into mini-classrooms this fall. While students are back to school and eager to learn, the new challenges posed by COVID-19 threaten to undo academic progress students made last year. In an effort to help northwest Indiana’s youth through this difficult time, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana announce the Return2Learn Matching Gift Challenge. Beginning Monday, September 14th, northwest Indiana residents and corporations have the chance to double their impact by making a gift to support education programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs, and an anonymous donor will match up to $100,000 in donations received by September 30th. All funds raised will go toward the Clubs’ academic assistance program, which provides virtual learning in a safe place for working parents.
